B.SC. IN ANTHROPOLOGY
B.Sc. in Anthropology is a 3- year long Bachelor’s program essentially involving a comparative study of human similarities and differences. It broadly covers the biological and cultural history of the human species over the last four million years, the cultural patterns of people from around the world, and the techniques and ideas people have used both to exploit and protect natural resources and the environment. Subjects studied in this course are Socio-cultural Anthropology, Biological Anthropology and Archaeological Anthropology.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Higher Secondary qualification/ 10+2 or equivalent qualification in the science stream from a recognized educational Board of the country.
- A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Some institutes and universities conduct their own entrance examinations for admission to the course. Selection to this course is based on the candidate’s performance in both 10+2 and the entrance examination.
